Kofi Djembe Drummers - buxton
Our fabulous Buxton (Kofi) class began in February 2024 and has gone from strength to strength.
Kofi quite simply means ‘born on a Friday’ in the Akan language of Ghana.
Meeting once a month on a Friday afternoon in St Peter's Church Hall, Fairfield from 3 till 5pm, with a break for a brew and a biscuit. This wonderful tribe are super friendly and welcoming and we have tonnes of fun. Beginners are very welcome. The video below is after just one hour of teaching a rhythm!
